Insensation Frameless Doors lead the market due to our superior thickness, universal-engineered door frame, wide spectrum of hardware and our unique INtact Installation which saves significant time and money on building sites.   10 years ago we introduced the American market to our innovative high-performance door cores.  Now we further innovate the door outer layers with a state-of-the-art material to serve the exclusive needs of our clients.

Our standard door structure is comprised of 2 outer layers of 7 mm MDF and a variable-width high-tech core.   This construction has proven to be superior for longevity, ease of installation and provide unique integration capabilities with emerging components. American and Italian manufacturers typically have 2 or 3 mm outer layers, making for a very weak door construction.  In addition to our already excellent engineering, we are pleased to announce the integration of Swiss CDF (Compact Density Fibreboard) in all our unique frameless doors.

CDF refers to the compactly compressed fibreboard (> 1,000 kg/m3) that gives the product such enormous stability. Thanks to its multi-ply construction, SWISSCDF is predestined for complex and filigree milled structures. SWISSCDF complies with the fire classification according to EN 13501-1 and therefore is also suitable for use in “flame-retardant” areas.

Swiss CDF is the future of modern door construction and is now available as an option on all Insensation doors.

As we enter our 10th year on the USA market, we are proud to announce our third wave of expansion. Our newest showrooms, located in city centers of Chicago, Houston and Boston, will serve cities where Insensation has established clients building modern, minimalist architecture. The new locations, like the existing ones in New York, Miami, Los Angeles and San Francisco, will serve as both showrooms and demonstration centers for contractors and architects.

Insensation’s use of magnetic lockcases in frameless doors goes way back to 2002 when we implemented the first frameless doors in Switzerland. The lack of a visible strike plate was a novelty at that time. Today, Insensation implements magnetic technology across a wide spectrum of functionality.

Magnetic Lockcases come in several versions for passage, privacy and security locks.

Magnetic Rollers are used to hold closet doors shut, and are recessed into our frames and doors.

Magnetic NoHa (No Handle) is used when clients want absolute minimalism with no levers.

Magnetic Stoppers are sunk into floors and doors to hold them from hitting the walls.

As a Swiss company, Insensation remains on the forefront of technology to support our clients.    After our Estimates are approved, we implement a 48-hour process to get all door orders into production.

Once an order is ready for shipment, Insensation provides our clients with REAL TIME TRACKING as pictured below.  All freight information as well as the global positioning of the freight is pictured in a system which can be queried at any time by our clients. The tracking is currently available for ocean freight from Europe to North America, as well as door hardware shipments from Europe to North America.

BIOMETRIC ENTRANCE DOORS

All Insensation’s Entrance doors are security doors, and come with extreme security options like bullet-proof cores and locks, and high-tech security access systems.

Our Smart Access is a motorised electronic lock purposely designed for use on armoured doors. The opening and closing functions are controlled by a motor and an electronic card with a state-of-the-art microprocessor. Even in the event of a power failure, the door can still be opened using the mechanical key which, thanks to a security system, can disconnect the motor during the activation of the mechanical cylinder. The system is scalable, and can be used as a simple keypad with code access or with extensive, combinable access controls for the inside and outside of the residence such as:

Biometric Fingerprint Scan, Keypad Code, Smartphone access, Smartwatch access, Transponder (fob), Card access
