Before becoming President, Dwight D. Eisenhower was a five-star general and the Supreme Commander of the Allied Forces during World War II, when he planned and supervised the June 1944 Allied invasion of Normandy, which led to the defeat of Nazi Germany. He became the 34th President of the United States and served from 1953 to 1961. During his presidency, he ended the open warfare of the Korean War, created the Interstate Highway System and NASA, and signed the Civil Rights Act of 1957. President Eisenhower also oversaw the admission of Alaska as the 49th state and Hawaii as the 50th state to the Union in 1959.

In 30 years, we expanded from our original location in Basel, Switzerland to serve clients in 14 countries in Europe and across the USA with 7 unique showrooms for contractors and architects.

For 30 years, we have developed minimalist products and introduced world-class architects to a wide range of frameless technologies which have subtly altered the course of interior design in everything from tiny woodland homes to massive luxury towers.

For 30 years, we have enjoyed every minute working with exceptional architects, contractors, designers and our own group of engineers and product gurus who have pushed the boundaries of wood, metal and mechanics in door design.

This is the first private residential estate designed by Aston Martin.  The project is located in Rhinebeck, New York.  

INSENSATION ADVANCED FRAMELESS DOORS
Insensation delivered a range of 10 foot frameless doors for this sophisticated residence. A combination of our advanced Frameless Swing, Frameless Pocket, Frameless Pivot and Frameless Duo doors were installed. To achieve design integrity, Insensation was requested to deliver raw doors, and a local artisan veneered them to match other design elements in the project.

Located on 55 beautiful acres of land in Rhinebeck, New York, only 90 minutes from Manhattan, the project is a truly visionary example of elegant architecture responding to a re-imagined modern lifestyle. The residence was sold for $8.25 million.
