1. Our wood and metal components are sourced from Switzerland, Greece, Germany, Italy and the Netherlands. The manufacturing operates under recognized standards, including CE (Conformity European) standards and ISO 9001:2015 certification. These certifications relate to quality management systems and product performance such as sound insulation, anti-burglary and thermal insulation.

2. Our aluminum supplier consistently earns top ratings and awards for its commitment to environmental, social, and corporate governance practices. The company actively supports the circular economy model, using recycled aluminum for a significant portion of its raw material needs. and has a “Net Zero” strategy, focusing on reducing its carbon footprint.

3. Our door cores have significant environmental ratings.

Linear, coplanar, essential: Our S0800 handle enhances the design of the minimal door and widens the horizons of the interior designer. Design is no longer just a function as the standard lever is.

The S0800 handle offers a secure and comfortable grip. The handle design always remains coherent with the available possibilities of closing: without a key, for the bathroom with a coplanar knob and with a European profile cylinder.

PRE-INSTALLED

Like all Insensation doors, we specialize in making installation as easy as possible. If you order the S0800 on your doors, it will be pre-installed in our factory, saving you hours of work.

MAXIMUM FREEDOM

The S0800 is the first handle that creates a continuity of shape both for swinging, sliding and pocket doors, which have been always very different from the other, and allows the transversality of the handle on all doors of a house.  Like our magnetic locks and 3D concealed hinges, the S0800 is available in silver, black and white.

MINIMALISM IN NEW YORK

MINIMALISM IN NEW YORK

This 19th Century Italianate brick row house, located in Ft Greene, Brooklyn, was stripped down to its brick shell and re-built with a 400 square foot, full width, two story rear extension for a young, growing family.

The clients were interested in maintaining the historic character of the street façade but completely recreating the interior environment with a humanist approach to modernism. They requested the house feel like “a jewel in a cardboard box”.

Finishes throughout were selected to complement the owner’s interest in creating a warm, modern environment. The floors are white oak finished for a natural appearance. The walls and various curves are plastered smooth and coated with matte paint to enhance the effect of sunlight and shadows on the various surfaces. Throughout the main floor, arched openings and high baseboards reference the historic townhouse character but are reinterpreted with minimalist, modern detailing. Frameless doors by Insensation were used throughout the house to compliment the discreet minimalist architecture.
