NEWS DOORS

Insensation is proud to supply its advanced frameless doors for the prestigious Dwight D. Eisenhower Presidential Library in Abilene, Kansas. Engineered to support both high-end residential as well as institutional demands, Insensation frameless doors deliver unmatched architectural design and structural engineering that outperform standard frameless systems on the market.

Before becoming President, Dwight D. Eisenhower was a five-star general and the Supreme Commander of the Allied Forces during World War II, when he planned and supervised the June 1944 Allied invasion of Normandy, which led to the defeat of Nazi Germany. He became the 34th President of the United States and served from 1953 to 1961. During his presidency, he ended the open warfare of the Korean War, created the Interstate Highway System and NASA, and signed the Civil Rights Act of 1957. President Eisenhower also oversaw the admission of Alaska as the 49th state and Hawaii as the 50th state to the Union in 1959.

Insensation is pleased to announce the start of our 30th year in business.

Insensation, the frameless and armored door company known for its minimalist XXL doors, was founded by Richard Gelles, who envisioned the brand and leads its growth. In 30 years, we expanded from our original location in Basel, Switzerland to serve clients in 14 countries in Europe and across the USA with 7 unique showrooms for contractors and architects.

For 30 years, we have developed minimalist products and introduced world-class architects to a wide range of frameless technologies which have subtly altered the course of interior design in everything from tiny woodland homes to massive luxury towers.

For 30 years, we have enjoyed every minute working with exceptional architects, contractors, designers and our own group of engineers and product gurus who have pushed the boundaries of wood, metal and mechanics in door design.

Throughout 2026, we will be releasing new products, new locations and announcing major projects that we have been preparing.

A huge thank you to our families, friends, clients, collaborators, architects, contractors, suppliers, engineers, logistic providers and all who have made our original slogan CREATE A SENSATION a reality in thousands of homes.

New Ceramic Surfaces

At Insensation, we believe a security door is more than just a fortress — it’s the first impression of your home. To combine ultimate security with high-end aesthetics, we are proud to introduce our new collection of Ceramic Surfaces, available exclusively for our security doors.

Using ceramic materials for door cladding offers advantages that no other finish can match:

Ultimate Weather Resistance: Perfectly suited for entrance doors exposed to sun, rain, and humidity. Ceramic surfaces are unaffected by UV radiation, ensuring that colors and textures remain unchanged for decades.

Scratch-Proof Protection: The material’s extreme hardness makes it virtually immune to scratches and abrasions, keeping your door looking brand new despite daily wear and tear.

Minimal & High-End Design: Featuring textures inspired by marble, concrete, and natural granite, ceramic cladding brings an air of luxury and modern architectural flair to your apartment or villa entrance.

Zero Maintenance: Thanks to their non-porous nature, they do not absorb stains and are incredibly easy to clean with a simple wipe.

Choosing a ceramic cladding for your Insensation security door is an investment in durability and timeless style.  The new finishes are available on the entire range of Insensation security doors, including our PIVOT, CONCEALED-HINGE, FLUSH, BULLET-PROOF and SAFE-ROOM versions.
